Is this event really free?
Yes, there is no
cost for this event as it is being sponsored by Canyon Creek Christian
Fellowship and the City of Calgary. There will be donation jars for some
of the food samples and some of the cultural groups may sell things like
handcrafted items or CDs.
What do you mean by performances?
Various groups
will be performing representing different cultures.
Is a meal being served?
No, just sample foods
are being offered from around the world.
Is this event open to everyone?
Most definitely.
Whatever your nationality, race, religion, ethnic origin, you are invited.
We want to celebrate the diversity in our city and help make Calgary a more
welcoming place for all people.
Are there things for my kids?
Most definitely.
There will be games, bouncers, activities from around the world to help keep
your kids entertained.
Are there resource tables to view?
Yes. You'll be
able to gather information from groups like the Calgary
Public Library, the city of Calgary, information about ESL classes, various
cultural groups, etc.
What if my cultural group would like to participate by setting up a table or
performing?

Do I have to register to come?
No, just show up.
Is the gym wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
What is the bus route to get there?
Our address is 333
Midpark Way SE, just across from Health Plus in Midnapore. No bus comes
directly on our street, but South West Loop Route 12 stops right across the
street from our building. See
