Reading Through The New Testament In 2016. Day 149. 2 Corinthians 1
As you guys can tell from these reflections, I’m not the best at finding life stories to tie into my messages to make them more personal and understandable. Paul seems to be the exact opposite in 2 Corinthians.

In 1:15-22 I think Paul proves he can turn anything into an analogy for Christ. He says basically ‘remember when we said that we were going to visit you but didn’t? God isn’t like us and always does what he says he’s going to’.
Seriously, he turned a failed trip into a message about the trustworthiness of God. A+ Paul.
He says that despite people best intentions, things can go bad. Plans fail, life happens. Through all of it though, God is faithful and his promises are secure. Don’t place your faith in the promises of man, but promises of God.
