Reading Through The New Testament in 2016 - December 22nd, 2016 - Revelation 16

The most interesting thing to me in this chapter is verse 15. Jesus will come like a thief, and is calling for us to be dressed and ready at anytime.

I think this verse can not just be situated to the end times, but the end of any time, including your life or anybody else’s.

The question here is, are you prepared for the end, for it does come like a thief when you least expect it. Life is only a flicker or a switch, and can be turned off at a moments notice. Are you ready to face Jesus? Are your clothes on? Or, the better question is, are you ready to face Him without shame? You see, Jesus wants us to live a life dedicated to him at all times, so that when he does call us, we are ready.
