An Embarrassed Peter on the Mount of Transfiguration - Everything You Need for Sunday
Hi Everyone!
This Sunday, we look at The Transfiguration. Do you know that one? I can’t seem to take my eyes off of Peter in these stories. It all started with his great answer, then he has a really bad answer, and here on the mountain, we see him almost trying too hard to get it right again. I can relate to this anxious feeling of needing to be good and right all the time; of needing to live up to expectations. How does this story with Peter play out? Well, you have to wait until Sunday (or just read it in Matthew 17 haha!)
We'll also celebrate Communion this Sunday. If you plan to join us from home, be sure to have elements ready.

In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
This weekend in Sunday School, the kids will learn about Paul and Silas! These men were two of the first missionaries who were called to go and tell people about Jesus in the world. Lots of people didn’t like the new Christian ideas though, and Paul and Silas ended up in jail! But instead of being afraid or worried, they trusted that God would protect them and they even worshipped in jail! This week, I want our kids to learn about courage and bravery, and know that because of God and His protection, we don’t have to be afraid!
