Church - Everything You Need for Sunday
Did you know that the Gospel of Matthew is the only gospel that has the word “church” in it? Weird right? It’s only in there a handful of times, too. The word is an interesting one, it really just means “an assembly”. A group of people. What people though? What makes a gathering of people a “church”? Or maybe a more interesting question: when does a church become just a gathering?

In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
This weekend in Sunday School, we will be talking about the story of Pentecost in Acts 2! This is a super interesting story because it teaches us some of the ways that God acts through us in the world. I think it also explains that Sunday School phrase ‘Jesus lives in your heart’ in a really interesting way- we learn that it’s through the Holy Spirit that this is possible. We’re going to talk more about who the Holy Spirit is and how that impacts our faith!
If you have any questions, or if there is any way that Alissa can support your family in discipling your children at home, please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
