Hope is a Thing with Feathers - Everything You Need for Sunday
James Wheeler is back with us this Sunday! As we take the first step into Advent 2022, we might remember that the first week focuses on hope. Hope is a funny thing, maybe even with feathers as Emily Dickinson once wrote. What does hope look like for each one of us in December 2022? And how are our hopes shaped and formed in our hearts? Certainly, consumerism and materialism want to shape our hearts! The whole Advent season is just a blur of voices and expectations at times. But what does God want to shape in us? Mary, the mother of Jesus, also had hopes and dreams and these were shaped in wild and surprising ways by God. Is Mary an exemplar of what it means to hope? Spoiler alert, the answer is yes!

In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School, for kids aged 4-12, with our teacher, Jomar Payoyo. Sunday School is held after our worship time.
This Sunday, we will be learning about hope. We will review the Christmas story and answer the following question: why is Jesus the hope of the world?
If you have any questions, or if there is any way that Jomar can support your family in discipling your children at home, please contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
