Hi Everyone!
Jesus feeds people again?! How come? It all reads so similar to the last feeding of the 5,000. Couldn’t he multiply some chicken this time instead of fish? Why does he feed the 4,000 in such a way that echoes the last feeding? Hmmm, to answer that question I might just have to tell you that someone getting more doesn’t mean you get less, which may be exactly why Matthew wanted to include this feeding story too. In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
This morning in Sunday school I am so blessed to have Courtney leading for me! She’s going to be teaching the kids on the story of Mary and Martha! I have always loved this story for its simple message of just coming to Jesus and spending time with Him. While Martha is running around the house trying to make everything perfect for Him, Mary sits at his feet. I hope our kids learn that they don’t have to be perfect to be friends with Jesus, He loves each one of them exactly how they are!
