Palm Sunday! - Everything You Need To Know
Hi Everyone!
This Sunday starts Holy Week: the week before Easter. I want to invite you to join us in entering the story of Christ's death and resurrection beginning with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. It's a peculiar story really, with grand theft auto, palm branches, hosannah's and the fear of Rome violently intervening. In the midst we find the messiah of the world, but he's also the Jewish messiah, a man from Nazareth. If Christ is the saviour of the whole world, why does he comes to us like this? So specific? So particular? A Nazarene who at the time was only acknowledged by Jewish people, everyone else went along their way like he meant nothing? Well, of course the answer is one that you'll have to wait to hear on Sunday, but I'll let you know it's been making me cry all week. We serve a beautiful Lord.
