The Yeast - Everything You Need for Sunday
Matthew’s gospel is the only one written to a religious audience. Matthew also doesn’t hold punches when it comes to religiosity! He lets us have it. On Sunday, we’ll look at Jesus warning His disciples of the “yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees”. This is strange because these two groups are pretty different, yet they both have the same problem. What is the yeast? And do we have it too?

In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
This weekend in Sunday School we will talk about the story of Jesus appearing to Thomas. In this story, Thomas is so confused about how the resurrection could be real that he says that he won’t believe it until he sees the holes in Jesus’ hands. Soon, Jesus appears to Thomas and allows him to see and even touch where the nails went through His hands. He also teaches Thomas that it is important to be able to believe without seeing and that it's okay for us to do that. Having faith and trusting in the resurrection is the important lesson I want our kids to learn!
If you have any questions, or if there is any way that Alissa can support your family in discipling your children at home, please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
