Till Something Does Us Part - Everything You Need for Sunday
Hi Everyone!
This Sunday, our very own Landon Buckley will be our speaker! We'll look at Matthew 19:1-12. Here is Landon's introduction:
In this passage, a group of religious leaders comes to Jesus to ask him his opinion on divorce. If I'm totally honest, this is a scripture that has made me deeply uncomfortable for a long time. In most of the stories of Jesus, he usually takes what the religious leaders of the time saw as the Law, and flips it on its head. But this time, he seems to just double down, going even further than the Law suggests. His answer, at least at first glance, seems somewhat out of character. Join me this Sunday as we take a closer look at this teaching, and grasp at the heart of Jesus' message.

In-person Sunday School!
In-person Sunday School, for kids aged 4-12, begins again this Sunday! Jomar Payoyo joins us to teach our children. Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
For Sunday School this week, we will be learning about prayer and how God asks us to bring Him our hopes and our worries. As part of our lesson, we will be reading and starting to memorize the Lord's Prayer as an example of what prayer is like according to Jesus.
