Tongue - Everything You Need for Sunday

Hi Everyone!

Let’s talk about COVID for a moment. Our medical system is under a lot of stress, and we are seeing the highest numbers of deaths per day than we've had in a while. For this reason, I want to remind us all how we can gather this Sunday for worship safely. Masks will be worn at all times, and if you don’t have one we can provide one for you! We will also have distanced seating. The only people you should be less than 6ft away from are your own family members or cohorts. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please join the service online. Sunday School will also be observing all the same precautions.

Thanks for your understanding! We all are a little tired I'm sure, but we are getting through this together. That's what is important. So grateful to have you with us this Sunday whether it is online or in person.

So, here’s what to expect this Sunday! Jesus is talking about how we can know the state of our hearts based on what we say. Our words! Jesus isn’t letting up in this convicting run He’s on. The good news is, there’s a way to change our hearts! Excited to worship with you all this Sunday!

In-person Sunday School!

We now have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our new amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.

Here is what Alissa has planned for this week:

This semester, the Sunday School group will be working through some of the big stories in the Old Testament! Last week, we started with the story of creation, talking about how God created the world and some of our favourite things He created. This week, we will be looking at Adam and Eve who were created in the image of God and who, in the end, didn’t trust God.

If you have any questions or if there are any ways I can support your family in discipling your children at home, please contact me at canyoncreek.churchoffice@gmail.com.

That's all you need to know for this Sunday. May God richly bless you as you worship together this Sunday!

God bless,

Justin
