You & Dad: Father’s Day Family Sunday! - Everything You Need for Sunday
Hi Everyone!
This Sunday is our first-ever Summer Family Sunday. This means we’re going totally unplugged (ok, we might have one speaker) and we’ll have a lot more time to drink coffee, eat breakfast, talk with one another, and enjoy the company of our church! For this Sunday, there will be no Zoom option. So a huge thank you to those whose only option is Zoom, we thank you for understanding and we’ll be back on Zoom next week!
The weather is likely not going to be great on Sunday, so we’re moving our picnic into the gym, but everything else will stay the same! Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to eat afterward, or bring back some McDonald’s or Wendy's. Bring any blankets, lawn chairs, etc. you like! We will also have chairs in the gym.
This is a Sunday to lean into the aspects of church that aren’t streamable and to remember that the church was born when there were no church buildings or sound systems. It was a community of people who loved Jesus and loved each other and they lived lives together in prayer, worship, and love. I’m excited for Sunday!
How to Join Us on Sunday at 10:30 am
In-Person: All are welcome to join us at 333 Midpark Way in a full-sized school gym.

In-person Sunday School!
We have in-person Sunday School for kids aged 4-12 with our amazing teacher, Alissa! Sunday School will be held after our worship time.
This weekend in Sunday School, we’re going to start wrapping up all our lessons from this year! My intention for this past year was to cover all the big stories from the beginning of the Old Testament through to the New Testament. They were all part of God’s story! We’re going to think back on some of the stories we learned about in the Old Testament and what they teach us about God!
If you have any questions, or if there is any way that Alissa can support your family in discipling your children at home, please contact her at canyoncreek.churchoffice@gmail.com.
God bless,
Justin
